Come and spend a relaxing morning nourishing both the spirit and the senses with Sarah Till from My Flower Cart and Sarah Beale from The Wellness Sanctuary.
The first part of the workshop will be a beautiful yoga session on the lawn looking up at the majestic Te Mata Peak. The class will be gently warming and energising and you’ll feel your creative life force awaken ready to learn and create afterwards. This will be a nourishing Flow featuring Tibetan Sound Bowls.
We will then relax and enjoy some vegan treats and flowery teas before starting the creative part of the workshop
Sarah Till will then take you through the process of setting an intention and deciding which herbs and flowers to choose to make an Aromatic Smoke Stick. We can wander through the My Flower Cart gardens as we set our intentions and see the flowers and herbs growing in the gardens. After a demonstration it’s over to you to make your own Aromatic Smoke Stick to use in your home.
This workshop is outside weather permitting so please wear appropriate clothing especially a hat if really sunny!
If it's raining it will be indoors on the property.

What is an Aromatic Smoke Stick?
Smoke Sticks or Smudge Sticks have been used for centuries by ancient civilisations around the world. Burning aromatic leaves releases the plant’s essential oils and together with the smoke creates a sensory experience. Everything is made up of energy and releasing aromatic smoke energy can make a really positive difference to your space. The anti microbial effects of herbal smoke are well documented and a lovely way to embrace the power of these plants by releasing the smoke throughout your home. Burning these sticks can cleanse the energy around your home or any space that requires a refresh.
