In this workshop Chrystal will guide us through creating our own Mala Necklace.
You can read more on the traditional use of Mala beads in prayer or meditation here: https://www.yogajournal.com/yoga-101/the-meaning-of-malas
We will create a Mala Necklace with 108 beads and a Guru Bead. Chrystal will have a selection of beautiful crystals and gem stones beads and we are practicing mindfulness and stillness and work with intention while creating our Mala.
There will also be plain wooden beads and lava beads that you can integrate in your Mala to apply essential oils that support your meditation practice and/or wellbeing.
Sarah will also provide a selection of essential oils for you to apply to your mala and information about their benefits and properties.
The workshop will be roughly 3.5 hours, so we have enough time to not rush the process. Perhaps at the end we can have one chant together with our Mala Beads.
We will supply some tea and light snacks on the day, but you are welcome to bring your own lunch along too or have a good breakfast before your come.
Workshop Fee: $88
Included in workshop fee: taking away your own 108 bead Mala Necklace, information hand out about Mala Beads & how to use them chanting practice, herbal teas, light snacks.
