Mums & Bubs 3-part Yoga Course

  • Wellness Sanctuary 32A Main Street Napier, Hawke's Bay, 4110 New Zealand (map)

MUMS and BUBS yoga course is back by popilar demand! Mama and Baby can have some time to connect and yoga together.

It will be a 3 part course across 3 Thursdays. The dates are: Thursday 29th November, Thursday 6th and Thursday 13th December from 2-2.45pm yoga followed by 15 mins to chat and relax with the other mamas and babies of a similar age. It's a lovely time to connect and create new friendships.

Cost of the course is $55 per mama, paid in advance to The Wellness Sanctuary: 12-3144-0257538-00 and bookings are essential. Please confirm your booking by emailing Sarah hello@wellnesssanctuary.co.nz

During the class, mama will be able to stretch out, relax, breathe, relieve bodily aches and pains and find comfort in her body, while baby chills out (or wriggles) next to you. Many of the poses you can do with your baby too!

We will explore:
Postures to help with Postpartum (ideally you will have had a 4 week rest at home after giving birth before joining these classes, some people feel ready to come to yoga earlier or later than this).
The postures will help to relieve any complications such as prolapse, help to tone the pelvic floor, relieve back pain and strengthen both body and mind. Breathwork, mantra (chanting) and playful poses to reduce baby blues and postnatal depression, are also part of this wonderful class. Baby will soak up the happy relaxed vibes next to you, beginning your yoga journey together.

Best suited to babies who are not yet crawling (for your peace of mind and for safety). Mama is able to breastfeed whenever she likes during class. Please bring all that you need for comfort including baby's favourite blanket, toy or bottle.
